A workshop for everybody who want to research new techniques on documentary making

Memorimage proposes a practical workshop of video storytelling to introduce smartphone as a tool for capture the reality. The aim of the project is to provide mechanisms to narrate stories using technology available to everyone. Is a creative and colaborative experience focused on practical exercises of video storytelling. After making the exercises there’s a collective assessment to get thoughts and conclusions for improving the creations.

Professor: Martí Genís, editor and filmmaker. He has worked for 12 years with TV3: news, sports, 30 minuts, Sense ficció and new formats. He has conducted courses on video reportage in UPD and ESADE. With 15 years of experience as a freelance in the sector it has specialized in documentary.


When: Saturday, November 12th from 9.00 to 14.00

Requirements: a smartphone (preferably iPhone 4 or higher) and hearphones with microphone. Battery charger. Free mobile space: 1GByte minimum.
