REUS CITY AWARD

Award to the Best Film of the Official Section. Statuette awarded to the Film Director on behalf of Reus City Council. The Jury designated by the organization will decide this award.
This award is applicable to all films screened at the Official Section.

CINEMA-RESCAT AWARD

An Award to the Best Research Work. A statuette given to the Film Researcher on behalf of the Cinema-Rescat Association. The Jury configured by Cinema-Rescat will decide this award.
This award is applicable to all films in the Official Section, MemoriReus and the closing film.

AUDIENCE AWARD

Award to the Best Film of Official Section and MemoriReus Section. A statuette and 300€ be given to the Film Director. The audiences attending the Festival will decide on the winner of this award by simple majority vote.

MEMORIJOVE AWARD

An award to the Best Film of MemoriJove Section by Popular Vote. A statuette given to the Film Director. The teenage audiences attending the Festival will decide on the winner of this award by simple majority vote.
This award is applicable to all films screened at MemoriJove Section.

 

 

 

M E M O R I M A G E     J U R Y

 Esteve Giralt Torras.

Graduated in Ciencies de la Informació at  Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, ​​he has worked in Tarragona and Terres de l’Ebre for La Vanguardia and RAC1 since 2003. He has collaborated with his own sections in the Islàndia program (La hora islandesa) and the Súperesports program (L’Amparito . The head of Nàstic and Reus in the First and Second Division has followed and is part of the Castells team at RAC1. He has worked on Radio Reus (2002-03) and on Catalunya Radio (2004). Recently awarded with the Excellence Award in the twentieth edition of the Ràdio Associació de Catalunya awards. He has collaborated with Canal Reus and the Local Television Network and writes for other publications (Fet a Tarragona, NW Reus, Descobrir Catalunya or Indicador d’Economia). He is vice-president of the Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya in Tarragona.

 

 

Eloide Mellado.

Graduated in Comunicació Audiovisual at Rovira i Virgili University in 2012, she has been an editor on the Filmin platform’s since then, where she is in charge of editorializing the content and is responsible for the KIDS section. She has also been a programmer at the REC Festival in Tarragona since 2020 and has been a judge at festivals such as Serielizados or La Cabina

 

 

 

Núria Arüna.

Professor of Audiovisual Communication at Rovira i Virgili University and professor of the Doctorate in Anthropology and Communication from the same university. She is member of the ASTERISC Communicació research group. His research topics revolve around cultural identities (particularly gender, social class and ideologies in relation to recent history) and audiovisual genres. His latest research addresses the documentary as a tool for social transformation and the possibilities of new online formats for collective empowerment. She has participated in research projects on Patrimoni Inmaterial and she has worked as a journalist in the media.

 

 

C I N E M A  – R E S C A T    J U R Y

MARÇAL MORA. Professor and director of video. Belong to the management board of cineclub of Fotofilm Calella, El Garbi de Malgrat de Mar and El Centru d’Arenys de Munt. He worked as movie editor in feature films. He organizes 3D operator workshops.

 

 

 

RAÜL CONTEL. Author of numerous shortfilms. He has written and directed theatral shows and has given seminars about cinematographic language. Member of the Council of Cinema-Rescat association.

 

 

 

ENCARNACIÓ SOLER. Doctor in Art History. President of Cinema-Rescat association. She’s an expert in recovery and research on Catalan film heritage. Usually participates as a jury member on different cinema events.
