In 2005 and 2006, a team filmed the birth and first year of life of four girls from four different continents. All of them had in common their fragile situation of extreme poverty.
In Liberia, Secret is born at home because her mother is afraid of going out in the middle of the night; Noelia does it in the South of Bolivia; Alaishri, in the north of India, after a hard night of labour; and Daniela is born on the floor of an apartment on the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden, because her mother, an undocumented immigrant, is afraid of going to the hospital and being deported.
Now, ten years later, we see how the girls are and the current situation of their families and countries. Will their lives have improved or, on the contrary, they have become worse?
This premiere will feature the directors of the film Oriol Gispert and Amanda Sans.
