When the end of the 1936-39 war, General Franco prevented the Cardinal-Archbishop of Tarragona, Francesc Vidal and Barraquer from returning from exile. This absence planned on the diocese during the Franco regime and opened its eyes to some lay priests and, on the repression of the regime. The documentary includes the testimony of the heirs of Vidal i Barraquer, but also of a part of the Tarragona church that helped to recover Catalan language and culture after the defeat of 1939; which opened paths of freedom to towns and cities; which was animated by the Second Vatican Council, nurtured the struggle for human rights and trade unions in the neighborhoods of Tarragona and Reus.
This premiere will feature the film director Llúcia Oliva.
